Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
